Artist Interview: Luka92



In our latest interview we bring you an amazing chopper from Italy, Luka92.

So Luka, What country are you from?
- I come from Italy

How did you begin chopping cars?
- I always had a passion for cars and for the design ... Then one day my father made me discover Photoshop and then I began to do small jobs on the images of cars ... and after a few months I discovered the Italian forum of virtual tuning and from there it all started

When did you Begin chopping?
- About the first part of 2006

What programs do you use for your chops?
- I, like many people, started with Photoshop 7.0, and then I switched to CS2, that I use now because I think it is the best version

How long do chops usually take you?
- Time can vary from 4-5 days to a month.

What's your favorite Car?
- There are many cars that I like for their style, but I like each in a different way .. For example: for the design I really like the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray of 1977, for the engine is the Ferrari Enzo... for the “sound” is the Lancia Delta HF Integrale... but I think my favourite for these all reasons is the Ferrari F40 ... and for the car "not impossible" I love the Mazda RX8

What is your favorite Chop? (Of Yours)
- I like all my chops, but I think my favorite is the "Lazzini Raggioverde F1" because while I created it I put in all my heart in all details ... I made it in one month last summer working 1-2 hours per day... it was published on the Italian magazine “Tuning Generation” like Chop of the month and on “Elaborare” in the 5th place!

I went to the D1 GP drift show in hallandale beach, FL amazing show ... love it every minute of it.. even with all the wait cuz of rain and heat .. the best part got there early ... vip parking and got media pass (which gets into any where in the show with any buts...) which made it 10 times better .... got to meet the guys from awesome guys and i loved their ae86... but deffinetly under power compared to the rest of the line up.... overall just the best time i had in while... enought typing here (some of the pics i have 507 pictures) the pics.. enjoy..

i dont know if anyone knows how to help me with this but ill ask it anyway.

I have a MAISTO 1:18 scale mercedes slk with stock rims.i am asking you guys if anyone know how to take off those stock rims and replace them with different ones.

if anyone could help that'd be great!

so im gonna be helping out JackDarton and x-raited with some stuff that they might need help with. one of those are doing the Chop Of The Month.

Now since we have 3 separate forums, im looking for suggestions to how you guys would like this done.

1. we could keep it the way it is and just take chops from all levels and put into the same COTM, if we keep it this way, i would like to see more than just chops from advanced being nominated

2. we could create 3 seperate COTM, like a novice, inter and advanced .. but then that would leave 3 chops per month which might be too much and the advanced sction doesnt always get that much action every month because there are less people in it

3. any other suggestions? do you guys want to keep it just as one per month or have any other suggestions if you would like to see it done a different way?

Artist Interview: SamVesters



In this interview we bring an incredible chopper, somewhat new to our community, but has already blown us away with his work. SamVesters.

So Sam, What country are you from?
- Belgium

How did you begin chopping cars?
- I always loved cars, and when I got PS from my uncle, I looked on the internet what people did with it, and tuning cars was, of course, my favorite!

When did you Begin chopping?
- September 2005

What programs do you use for your chops?
- Started with ps 7, now using ps cs2.

How long do chops usually take you?
- Hmm, I think somewhere between a week and a month.

What's your favorite Car?
- Easy question, difficult answer... I think stock a Porsche CGT, but there are so many awesome tuners!

What is your favorite Chop? (Of Yours)
- Another hard question, cause I tend to prefer my last chop, but I think that it would actually be my Fit, cause this was the first total rebrush I did of which I'm still proud.
