What Car is this

Hey guys

A friend asked me to find out what this car was. I already know about most classic cars but he told me this is not a GM car (General Motors) and it is from the late 50's. Could do with some help.

Here is the low res picture (I scaned it off his business card...)

Looks like a belair or somethin.. that kind of cars arent really my specialties.

Thanks anyway but as the Bel Air is a Chevy that means it is a GM which I stated it is not.

Now don´t stick it in my face if i´m wrong, but i think it might be a Studebaker..
They built the Eagle that kicked Gm but when it was new

hey mate my dad grew up around old cars, so i spoke to him about this car and he says it looks like a plymouth fury

First of all, the original scan that started this thread is vertically stretched, the car is actually lower and more sleek. I also first thought the scan was a Plymouth (but wrong grille and tail fins) or some Chrysler product... what turned up is specifically a 1959 Dodge Coronet. Note the script writing on the front fender (Coronet), headlight "eyebrows", tail fins and taillights.

1959 was the end of a era for this body style Coronet (produced '57-'59) and Dodge dropped the model until later in the '60s. Considered quite rare now and I think one of the coolest Dodges ever made.
